An additional feature of Yearly is the optional notification feature, which sends a daily reminder at 5:00 AM. This helpful notification ensures that users are aware of their reading for the day, even before unlocking their device. Furthermore, users have the ability to personalize the timing of these notifications to suit their preferences, as well as enable a badge on the app icon until the current day’s reading is completed.

Yearly offers further customization options through its settings menu. By simply sliding from the left edge of the interface, users can access this menu and adjust their schedule start day to align with any date of their choosing, eliminating the restriction to begin on January 1st. Additionally, users have the option to personalize the app's background color by swiping from right to left on the main screen, allowing for a more personalized reading experience.
